STARS Center for Speech Therapy and Related Services is a partnership of five independent Speech-Language Pathologists.

Founded in 2012, our partners formed an organization in which we could join forces in order to: grow our individual scopes of practice, provide better quality, coordination  and continuity of care to our clients, and economize overhead by sharing administrative and other business expenses as a cooperative venture.

Each of the partners contributes her individual style, professional experience and clinical knowledge to the mutual success of our group.  Together we have expanded our reach in order to benefit an increased number of children with special needs.

Our mission is to provide evidence-based, individualized, relevant and consistent Speech-Language Pathology services to children and their families.  Our primary goal is to enable our clients to achieve their fullest potential concerning their communication and/or feeding and swallowing skills development.

We are a community-based and client-centered service organization. We believe that therapy interventions should not be dispensed in a ‘one size fits all’ manner. We utilize the most appropriate methods, intensity and service location possible, when designing each child’s treatment plan.  We aim to provide each child with the most appropriate levels of practice opportunities/ therapy sessions necessary to master new skills.  We encourage family, teacher and other caregiver participation in facilitating carryover to the child’s activities of daily living.
